Cersanit product lines achieve success in the “Ceramic Pearls"

Cersanit's product lines have received a total of four nominations in the competition organised by the editorial staff of the “Around Ceramic Tiles” quarterly.

The “EU Ceramic Pearls” competition has been held since 2004, organised by the editorship of the “Around Ceramic Tiles” (“Wokół płytek ceramicznych”) quarterly and the CAD Projekt K&A company. The aim of the competition is to select ceramic tiles that are distinguished by design, colours, ornamental diversity and available sizes among those available on the Polish market.

The second edition of the competition saw the nomination of four PREMIUM-class Cersanit lines: DERN, DIVENA, HIKA, and MARATONA. Characterised by the minimalism achieved by uniting simple stone and textile-texture motifs, the MARATONA collection was distinguished in the PREMIUM category.

For the universal tile category, Cersanit obtained the majority of votes, with a total of three lines being distinguished – DERN, DIVENA, and HIKA. The first of these, DERN, is a line of amazing tiles resembling rusty metal, intended for the creation of stylish, industrial-flavoured interiors. The DIVENA line features concrete tiles with subtle oriental patterns for creating minimalist interiors. Last, but not least, the HIKA line is a creative vision encapsulated in colourful terazzo.

HIKA has additionally been distinguished by CAD Decor Designers and obtained the Ceramic Pearl Designers’ award. The manufacturer who obtains the most titles will receive the Great EU Ceramic Pearl award.

The lines submitted for the competition were evaluated based on the following criteria: aesthetic values, conformity with the worldwide design trends, stylistic coherence, originality, functionality and technical quality.
